Do you know how to sample with a plankton sampler

1. Prepare petri dishes (XX clean room, XX measuring point) in a clean room with a platform, and wipe the platform with medical degreased cotton soaked in 75% ethanol before operation. Testers sterilize their hands in the same way. In the preparation process, the quality of the culture medium dishes should be carefully checked again. Any deterioration, damage or contamination should not be used.



2. Wipe sampling port, sampling tube, cap, rotary plate and cover of sampler with medical degreased cotton soaked 75% ethanol;



3. After the sampler is sterilized, do not put it into the petri dish. Start the instrument to run idle for no less than 5 min to evaporate the residual disinfectant in the instrument;



4. Set the sampling amount according to the cleanliness level of the operating room. The flow rate of the sampler (L/min)X sampling time (min)= the sampling amount (L);



5. Put the petri dish on and adjust the gap height of sampler after cover. During the sampling operation, the petri dish should be handled with care, and the outer diameter of the petri dish should be grasped with "five fingers" to avoid contamination of the samples by human beings. 6. Layout of sampling points and number of sampling points.



The plankton sampler is generally designed according to the iso-velocity sampling theory. The sampling is direct, and the wind speed at the collecting head is basically the same as that in the clean room, which can more accurately reflect the concentration of microorganisms in the clean room. The sampler consists of two parts: sampling head, petri dish base, sampling pump, sampling pump base and sampling pump power supply. The lower part is control board, memory, LCD display, keyboard and battery components.
