Principle of Quantity Adjustable Optical Attenuator
The Quantity Adjustable Light Reducer is a circuit for introducing a predetermined reduction within a specified frequency range. Generally, the reduced decibel number introduced and the ohmic number of its characteristic impedance are used to indicate the reduction. Reducers are widely used in cable TV systems to meet the multi-port level requirements. For example, the input and output levels of the amplifier are controlled, and the branch reduction is controlled. There are two kinds of adjustable light reducer: passive light reducer and active light reducer. The active reducer is combined with other thermal elements to form a variable reducer. The device is used in an amplifier in an automatic gain or slope control circuit. Passive reducer has fixed reducer and adjustable reducer.
