The Plan Colombia, the organization CHEMONICS and the execution by ASOHECA made possible to develop the project CAD 20012005, which objective is to ease the process of agricultural production by peasants at the Amazonian region from Colombia. Among other products, they are able to cultivate rubber and exotic fruits such as: Arazá, Cocona and Copoazu. They are all an economic alternative to the illicit cultivation of drugs.




Nowadays, it is possible for them also to trade these products. Thus, they established a committee of production called AGROCOMERCIAL DEL CAQUETA NUEVA ESPERANZA, to improve the production, post-harvesting and marketing of the products

The committee is promoting the construction of a processing plant of exotics with the support of several institutions such as Iglesia Evangélica Luterana de Colombia, ASOHECA, the Chamber of Commerce of Florencia, la Alcaldía Municipal de Valparaíso Caquetá - Colombia.

The 11th September 2008 a study was elaborated to diagnose the firm AGROCOMERCIAL DEL CAQUETA NUEVA ESPERANZA SAT COMITÉ, obtaining very positive results and very good perspectives of growth and development.
