Clean workbench provides sterile assurance for laboratory environment

In high-tech fields such as healthcare, biotechnology, and pharmaceuticals, there is a high demand for cleanliness in experimental environments. The working principle of a clean workbench is quite simple. Firstly, the fan draws indoor air into the workbench and filters it through a pre filter and a high-efficiency filter to remove large particles of dust and microorganisms from the air. Then, the filtered air passes through the air outlet on the table and re enters the operating area. During this process, a differential pressure gauge and a temperature and humidity meter are usually installed on the operation panel of the workbench to monitor the air quality and temperature and humidity inside the workbench in real time.
There are many types of clean workbenches, which can be divided into vertical flow clean workbenches, horizontal flow clean workbenches, self-cleaning clean workbenches, etc. according to their different usage environments and purposes. Among them, vertical flow clean workbenches are mainly used in fields such as healthcare and biotechnology, while horizontal flow clean workbenches are mainly used in fields such as electronics and optics.
The selection and use of a clean workbench need to consider many factors. Firstly, it is necessary to select the appropriate type of clean workbench based on the specific needs of the experiment. Secondly, it is necessary to consider performance parameters such as filtration efficiency, wind speed, and noise of the workbench. In addition, the installation and maintenance costs of the workbench also need to be considered.
Although the price of clean workbenches is relatively high, their importance in ensuring the cleanliness of the experimental environment, preventing experimental errors, and protecting the health of experimenters has made them increasingly widely used in laboratories.
