The box-type resistance furnace is not used correctly, it is really a "test of life"

Box-type resistance furnace can be used in laboratories, industrial and mining enterprises, scientific research units, etc. for element analysis and determination, and for heating small steel parts and other metals in heat treatment. The outer shell is welded with high-quality cold-rolled steel plate, and the furnace door adopts a side-opening structure, which is flexible to open and close. Box type resistance furnace


1. Samples that cannot be directly placed in the furnace for disposal must be placed in a clean special crucible. The heat resistance of the crucible exceeds the temperature of the electric furnace. Do not use a box-type electric furnace with a high temperature to avoid burning the heating element. When the box-type electric furnace is heated, the furnace shell will also be heated. Keep the stove away from combustible materials and make it easy to dissipate heat.

Even if you do not touch this temperature, it will not cause burns to the human body, but you must still pay attention to safety. The service life of the heating element depends on the oxide layer on its surface.
4. Destroying the oxidation layer will shorten the life of the heating element. Each shutdown will damage the oxide layer, so it should be used as long as possible after it is turned on, but the temperature for long-term use should be more than 50 degrees lower than the limit temperature of the electric furnace.
5. After repeated use of the box-type resistance furnace, the edge material of the furnace may crack. These cracks are caused by thermal shrinkage and have no effect on the quality of the furnace. When the box-type electric furnace is heated to more than 400 degrees, it cannot be heated too quickly, but it must be heated slowly, so as not to affect the service life of the furnace.
