The potential problems of anemometer icing are sobering
An anemometer is also called an anemometer. To put it simply, it is a portable and intelligent low-wind speed measuring instrument with the basic function of measuring wind speed. It is used in measuring pipeline environment and heating, air conditioning and refrigeration, environmental protection, energy saving monitoring, meteorology, Agriculture, refrigeration, drying, labor hygiene investigations, clean workshops, chemical fiber textiles, various wind speed experiments, etc. have a wide range of uses. For mechanical anemometers and wind vanes, I will list a few influences that I can think of:
1. The measured wind speed is lower than the actual value:
In the windy weather, it is easy to put the unit in dangerous working conditions, especially when the cut-out wind speed cannot be judged in time;
When the wind speed is low, the wind speed reaches the cut-in wind speed, but the measured value is low due to the icing of the anemometer, and the unit does not actively cut in and loses power generation.
2. Wind direction measurement deviation:
On the one hand, it affects the power generation output, and at the same time, it will also cause additional unit load due to the excessive wind angle, especially in high wind conditions.
3. Simultaneously with the icing of the blade:
When the blades freeze, the output performance of the unit will decrease, and at the same time it will bear abnormal load.
Many blade icing detection algorithms rely on wind speed and output to judge. If the anemometer is icing at this time and the wind speed measurement value is too small, it will interfere with the icing detection algorithm:
The icing of the blades causes the output to drop, and the wind speed of the anemometer is icing. If you only look at the data, it will be very reasonable, because the relationship between wind speed and power may be within a reasonable range.
4. The anemometer is completely frozen and cannot work, which usually causes the unit to shut down and cannot operate. Compared with the above, this is a better result, because there are no unpredictable potential problems.
