The working process of digital storage oscilloscope

   Digital storage oscilloscope is different from general analog oscilloscope. It converts the analog voltage signal collected into digital signal, which is analyzed, processed, stored, displayed or printed by an internal computer. This kind of oscilloscope usually has the ability of program control and remote control. It can also transmit data to external equipment such as computer through GPIB interface for analysis and processing.
Its working process is generally divided into two stages: storage and display. In the storage stage, the analog signals are sampled and quantized first. After converted into digital signals by A/D converter, they are stored in RAM sequentially. When the sampling frequency is high enough, the undistorted storage of signals can be realized. When it is necessary to observe the information, the restored waveform can be observed by the oscilloscope after D/A conversion and LPE filtering, as long as the information is taken out from the RAM in the original order at the appropriate frequency.
