Characteristics of Vector Network Analyser

Choosing a transmission/reflection analyzer (ET) or an S-parameter analyzer (ES) allows you to choose the best relationship between performance and price for your application. The network analyzer is characterized by two independent measurement channels, which can simultaneously measure and display all four S parameters. Arbitrary combinations of reflection and transmission parameters can be displayed in amplitude, phase, group delay, Smith circle, polar coordinates, standing wave ratio or time-domain formats. Easy to use special function keys can quickly access various measurement functions. Four scale lattices can be used to observe the measurement results in the form of overlapping or separating screens on high resolution LCD color displays. In order to drive larger external monitors for easy observation, VGA-compatible output is added.
The test timing function allows you to type once to perform complex tasks quickly and repeatedly. In the sequential mode of operation, the analyzer can store input only once from the panel, so that no additional programming is needed. The test sequence can also be used to control external devices via parallel or GPIB ports.
In order to measure mixers, tuners and other frequency converters, the frequency offset mode allows the network analyzer to be tuned independently of the receiver. It is easy for the analyzer to measure frequency conversion loss, phase, group delay and mixer tuning in fixed IF or scanning IF mode.
