When measuring with network analyzer, first of all, devices such as cable connectors, impedance converters, standing wave bridges and matching loads should be strictly distinguished between two kinds of characteristic impedance: 75_and 50_, which are easy to be confused because of the same external diameter and connection threads. The connection of 75_positive head and 50_negative head should be avoided, which will cause circuit discontinuity and can not be tested, and the connection of 50_positive head and 75_negative head should be avoided, because this will completely damage the socket of 75_negative head. Secondly, impedance converters, matching loads, standing wave bridges and measuring probes should be handled carefully and carefully, so as to prevent falling from high places from affecting their performance and final measurement results. In addition, when connecting various devices, attention should be paid to the method of connecting rotation. Only rotating movable nuts are allowed to ensure that the pin and the pin move in a straight line. Otherwise, spiral motion of pins and jacks will occur to accelerate wear and tear, and it is likely that the internal pins will be loosened and can not be used normally. Finally, after the cable connector is installed, carefully check whether the pin is in the center, and if necessary, try to correct it so as to avoid damaging the connector jack to be connected.
