Description
The Agilent / HP 3589A Spectrum / Network Analyzer breaks through the speed/resolution/accuracy barrier. It combines the best of analog swept techniques with advanced digital signal processing to provide you with frequency resolution, measurement speed and amplitude accuracy that you can't get from any other analyzer.
Use the Agilent / HP 3589A to conduct Surveillance and Signal Monitoring, to test Commercial Communications applications and Aerospace Electronics applications, to measure the characteristics of Audio and Video components, and to characterize Semiconductor signals. The Agilent / HP 3589A Spectrum / Network Analyzer is a high performance, 10 Hz to 150 MHz, synthesized network/spectrum analyzer offering swept spectrum, narrow band zoom, and vector network measurements. Swept spectrum mode uses digital IF filters that allow increased measurement speed (up to four times faster than conventional swept-tuned analyzers for comparable measurements) with no additional amplitude error or resolution loss. Narrow band zoom mode uses an implementation of the Fast Fourier Transform to provide even faster measurements (up to 350 times faster than conventional swept-tuned analyzers for comparable measurements) with even greater resolving power. Narrow band zoom mode can be used for spans of 40 kHz and less. Vector network mode provides complete frequency-domain characterization. With the addition of the Agilent / HP 35689 A/B S-Parameter Test Set, the Agilent / HP 3589A can do complete one-port or two-port vector network analysis.
The Agilent / HP 35689A is a 50 ohm S-Parameter test set and the Agilent / HP 35689B is a 75 ohm S-Parameter test set. The Agilent / HP 35689A/B are completely controlled through the Agilent / HP 3589A using the interconnect cable.
