THE ORIGINAL WARMTH MATERIALS

OK Thermo-Insulation was created as a new product as a result of numerous thermo-mechanic tests in the area of thermo-insulation. Analyses have shown that the thermal insulation performance of OCEANKING can be compared with eiderdown. In fact, when equal thickness are compared, it provides about 1-1.5 times warmth of down and about twice the warmth of other high-loft insulation materials.  Besides, due to the hydrophobic property of Polypropylene, it can remain its insulating ability even in damp conditions.

THE TECHNOLOGY OF WARMTH

What makes OK do such an excellent work?  It's all in the fibres. OK is produced in a special process with high-tech polymers. During this process superfine fibres of polypropylene in the range of 0.3 to 7.0 micrometer are produced. Some of these fibres are microbonded, others are entangled at random. Such a fibre structure provides a very soft product with an excellent air-trapping capability. As we all know, the more air trapped, the more efficient the insulation.  Besides, The microfibres of this product guarantee the high total surface area, it provides exceptional thermal insulation by reflect back the body's radiant heat.

PERFORMANCE

Garments made of OK are very comfortable, because OK Thermo-Insulation is light, thin and soft, also, it provides a high breathability.  The apparel and accessories of OK do not get the sweaty feeling as usual when wearing other kinds of  materials.  It can be used in anywhere a thin, highly efficient insulation is needed such as lining in shirt, jacket, ski outfits, quilt, sleeping bags etc.  More over, test has shown that both repeated machine washings and dry-cleanings can't affect the performance of OKat all.  The analysis indicates that OK's average "CLO" remains relatively unchanged even after repeated cleaning.
